What a great opportunity Visions of Hope has given us to come together from different areas of the city, different churches, and different streams of faith; and to use our combined musical gifts to inspire Visions of Hope in Halifax!

We're so glad that you are part of this choir and this event and we believe that as we rehearse together, pray together and worship together, that God will not only work though us, but work in us as well. And as He works IN you, we would like to invite you to share your stories, prayers and testimonies in our "Visions of Hope" Choir blog.

We're looking forward to seeing God work visions of hope in your lives and reading about it here on the blog. And be sure to log in often and read the testimonies of fellow choir members!

VoH was a fantastic experience both personally and collectively.
The event has brought new people together, spotlighted local Christian initiative and will, I believe, give us a platform to build on as we move into 2007
As choir co-ordinator it has been a privilege to serve the Church and to see God's Power released thru our deepening relationship with Him and each other.
I pray His blessing will be on all we do together in the New Year.
Thanks Steve, Vel and everyone who came or took

My husband was diagnosed with Cancer in Oct 01. Surgery was needed with possible risk to life. We opted for surgery! The love of God we felt through His people was awesome. He returned to work after 15 mths and underwent check ups. Cancer returned in Feb 06 in the form of a tumour and in the Lymphnodes. Surgery was needed again with 6 mths of Chemo -only a 10% chance this would work. Oct 06 came and docs confirmed the Cancer had gone. All things are possible with the love of JESUS - PRAISE HIM!

Hi Steve and Vel,I just want to say how blessed and uplifted I feel at the choir rehearsals. The rehearsal last night at St Paul's was a particular blessing, I really felt the Holy Spirit moving and was lost in the music particularly the chorus of All I Once Held Dear and the harmonies for Servant King.
I pray God's blessing on everyone involved and that He will be glorified through the event.
With love and prayers,
Lyn.
