PRODUCTION
What do Graham Kendrick, Gloria Gaynor and Chris Bowater have in common ? All have worked on studio or live recording projects with producer, arranger and session player Steve Thompson and his Beracah Music International production company.
For 15 years, Beracah Music has produced and arranged live albums including a number of 'March for Jesus' recordings in nations such as France, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Germany and Brazil.
"We not only produce albums for churches, but we take the opportunity to train and teach churches how to prepare and develop themselves for future recordings," said Steve. "We all need to play our role in getting the Gospel out through the media of music. Worship is the highest form of human expression to God - what better way to express and share your faith and love towards God and others than through true worship recordings?"
Beracah Music has established contacts with many of the main recording labels, distributors and CD & Cassette duplication plants, enabling the company to offer artists product from conception to completion.
They also regularly work with 'BBC Songs of Praise' in co-ordinating and arranging the musicians and music for programmes. One of the recent ones was the 'BBC's 25th Anniversary at the Royal Albert Hall' which featured Gloria Gaynor, Graham Kendrick and Sir Cliff Richard. They also organised a band and arranged the music for the 'BBC Songs of Praise - The Queen's Jubilee' in Birmingham.
During these two recordings, Steve & Velveta worked with some of the country's finest musicians, many of whom are currently working or have worked with Westlife, Five, Elton John, George Michael, Beverly Knight and other well-known artists.
"Steve has an unique sensitivity and understanding of
music and the use of instruments. His arrangement
adds depth, and life to any original song. There is
an evidence of anointing with what he does. And he
does it well."

song writer, co-founder of Crescendo music inc.
