General Testimonial - Steve & Vel

Thursday 16th November 2006 2:41 PM

One of the blessings of our ministry is meeting wonderful people all over the world. In addition to constant travel within the United Kingdom and Mainland Europe, we're often travelling the globe to incredible places like South Africa, Korea, Egypt and America. If we've met you along the way, or you've become acquainted with our ministry through our music, we would love to hear from you. Please post your comments here. Thanks so much!

Blessings,

Steve & Velveta

Steve
Thanks so much for my first two lessons with you! I am grateful to God for opening up to me a whole new world in worship music through you...where I had always wanted to go but had always felt limited by this ceiling in my playing/experience. Thanks to both of you for being so devoted to the Lord and His work. Your family life, vision and devotion to the Word of God are exemplary. god bless you all.

Dear Steve, I was very blessed by your worshops in Singapore last year and have seen tremendous improvement in my ministry. Your emphasis that it is our *duty* to enhance our God-given talent encouraged me to practice dilligently and practice time became more efficient and productive thanks to the tips you shared.

I'm still far from where I want to be but your teaching and encouragement put me on the right track. (continued below)

(continued) It is as if the chains binding me were cast away. I used to be consistently stressed out during worship as my sole focus lay on avoiding the wrong notes. I am now able to play freely and return my focus to the right place, whole-heartedly enjoying the communion with God during worship!

Your words nailed it on the head - the Holy Spirit is the best teacher we can have and we must always invite Him to guide our practice and teach us how to be fruitful.

Steve & Vel what a wonderful couple to know and experience your friendship and care. To see you both at work in such a natural way with your God given talents is such a blessing. You demonstrate grace and love in an abundance. Your experience of life has coused you to turn the lemons you were given into lemon aid and not a bitter cup. You are an inspiration to us all. Be blessed and thanks for being you.

Steve,
Your friendship, gifts, and servant heart has forever left a mark on all of us here at Grace Outreach Ministries West Lebanon, NH. We are so grateful to You, Graham and the team for the deposit you left with us these last two visits.
I look forward to probing the knitting of our hearts and lives for the glory of His kingdom.
May the Lord bless you, Vel and your family as you serve the body with the amazing gifts He has placed within you, that you offer so freely.

Thanks for enabling us as a video media team to develop and use our giftings for the glory of God! It was wonderful to support and enhance what you and the band were doing in worship. Thank you, and roll on next year!

Thank you Steve for your teaching and practical advice at St. Chad's Romiley Nov 25th 2006. The chord and modulation demonstration and practical sessions were particularly helpful. Also the different styles you introduced us to, and how to practice them. Your sensitivity to the Spirit of God in using music came across in your presentation and your care for us as individuals with varying backgrounds and experiences. We all felt we had a gift to develop for His glory!

We had a great morning with Steve last Saturday at St Chads Romiley (near Stockport) re-learning the essentials, both practical and spiritual, for keyboard players in worship bands. Your experience of the wider world of music really helped us to think seriously about what we do and why we do it.If anyone else is considering working with you and wants to know more, I'd be very happy to be in touch with them. Thank you!

Steve & Vel, thanks for being such an inspiration to the participants of the Brussels-European Worship Institute. It's evident that your abilities to teach, demonstrate and pastor students of worship comes from years of experience, knowledge and wisdom in ministry service. We highly recommend you to anyone seeking competent conference speakers, seminar or workshop teachers, or worship ministry consultants. You are gifted with musical excellence as well as with servant hearts.
